Matthew Chapter 12

Please meet in room 22 tomorrow morning if it's raining!

Matthew Chapter 12 is a lengthy chapter filled with great information. I plan on cutting down a large sum of the chapter because most of the chapter is full of theology and topics that might be hard to teach and understand within a half hour. I will focus mostly on the Pharisees trying to bring down Jesus and how He response to their plots. I will also review Jesus' true relationship he has with his brothers and sisters.

1. Why don't the Pharisees like Jesus?
2. Who are the modern day Pharisees?
3. What do the Pharisees say about Jesus?
4. How does Jesus handle each situation with the Pharisees?
5. What is Jesus' response like toward the man telling Jesus that His mother and brothers are outside?
6. Who are your brothers and sisters?
7. How are we suppose to treat our brothers and sisters?

See you tomorrow and remember we are creating New FCA T-shirts. Coming soon!!!
Also, we are planning a Yosemite trip coming up in the spring!!!! More details to come!!!

Matthew Chapter 11

Matthew Chapter 11 is full important information. We definitely don't have time to review all the information in 30 minutes. We will focus a little on John the Baptist, what the people are like during this time period, how Jesus will treat the lands he visited, and relationship between Jesus and God. Its a ton of info, but I think we can get through it. These are some questions that TEAM FCA came up with. Most will not be asked this Friday.

1. Why does Jesus tell his disciples to report to John about the good news?
2. Who is John and why is he important?
3. What kind of generation are we living in?
4. What kind of generation does Jesus describe?
5. What is Jesus going to do to the cities who don't believe in Jesus?
6. Who did Jesus come to save?
7. How great is our God?

8. How do you think John felt as Jesus was talking to him?
9. What do you think Jesus meant by,"And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted in heaven?
10. What does Jesus mean, "We played the flute but you did not dance?
11. Why does Jesus praise his Father, Lord?
12. What is the place of the dead?

Just a reminder we are coming up with a new FCA t-shirt. The team will be passing out fliers soon.

The team and I want to do an exciting Bible Study adventure. We are planning a trip to Yosemite. Everyone is invited, including parents, who else will drive. We want to climb Vernal Falls/ Mist Trails. Its an easy 3.5 or less round trip trail leading to a beautiful waterfall. Once we are on top of the falls we can have a little Bible Study. This should be a wonderful time spent together. I will be talking about this at FCA tomorrow and soon the date will be etched in stone. Have a great week!!!

4. Why were they told not to bring any extra clothes, sandles, food, or money?
