Summary by Andrew:
In Mark chapter 9 verse 38-50 Jesus talks about temptation. Jesus says that having temptation over
anything causes us to sin and takes away focus on God. In verse 43 it says, “If your hand causes you
to sin, cut it off. It is better for you
to enter heaven maimed than with 2 hands in hell.” What this is all referring to is that we need
to cut sin out of our lives. As
followers of Christ discipline is required in removing sin, no matter how hard
it hurts us. Nothing shall stand in the
way of your faith.
